Terms & Rental Agreement

Easy Tote Rental — Boiling Spring Lakes, NC | Brunswick County, NC

Effective Date: May 1, 2025

1. Agreement Overview

By requesting, booking, or accepting a tote rental from Easy Tote Rental (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms & Rental Agreement. Please read this agreement carefully before using our services.

2. Service Description

Easy Tote Rental provides short-term rental of reusable plastic moving totes, delivered to and picked up from Customer's location within Brunswick County, NC. Rental packages include delivery, pickup, and one (1) moving dolly where applicable.

3. Service Area

Service is available within Brunswick County, NC. A travel fee may apply for deliveries to certain locations including Shallotte, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Calabash, and Sunset Beach. Travel fees will be disclosed at the time of booking.

4. Rental Periods

Standard rental periods are 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 4 weeks from the date of delivery. Short-term (3-day / weekend) rentals are also available with a minimum of 5 totes.

Rental periods begin on the date of delivery and end on the agreed pickup date. If you need to extend your rental, you must notify Easy Tote Rental before your rental period ends. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.

5. Delivery & Pickup

  • Delivery and pickup are included with all standard weekly rental packages within the core service area.
  • Customer must ensure that a responsible adult (18 years or older) is present or that a designated drop-off location is agreed upon in advance.
  • If Easy Tote Rental is unable to complete delivery or pickup due to Customer's unavailability or inaccessible location, a re-delivery or re-pickup fee may apply.
  • Pickup must be scheduled by the Customer at the end of the rental period. Easy Tote Rental will not be responsible for delays caused by failure to schedule pickup in a timely manner.

6. Tote Care & Condition

  • Totes are provided clean and in good working condition.
  • Customer is responsible for returning totes in the same general condition as received — free of excessive dirt, damage, or foreign substances.
  • Light cleaning (wiping out debris) is appreciated but not required for normal use.
  • Customer is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any tote that is returned damaged, broken, or missing. Replacement cost per tote is $25.00.
  • Totes must not be used to transport hazardous materials, chemicals, liquids without sealed containers, or any illegal substances.

7. Dolly Use

One (1) moving dolly is included with qualifying rental packages. The dolly must be returned with the totes at the end of the rental period. Lost or damaged dollies are subject to a replacement fee of $75.00.

8. Pricing & Payment

  • Rental pricing is as listed on our website at the time of booking and is subject to change without notice for future bookings.
  • Payment is due at or before the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle.
  • Short-term rental pricing: 5–15 totes: $59 | 16–35 totes: $89 | 36–50 totes: $119. Travel fees apply for outer service area locations as disclosed at booking.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled delivery date will receive a full refund or no charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to $25.00 to cover scheduling and logistics costs.
  • Rescheduling requests are accommodated based on availability and must be made as early as possible.

10. Late Returns

If totes are not available for pickup on the agreed pickup date and no extension has been arranged, a late fee of $10.00 per day will be assessed until the totes are returned or a new pickup date is confirmed.

11. Loss or Theft

Customer assumes full responsibility for totes and equipment from the time of delivery until pickup. In the event of loss or theft, Customer is responsible for the replacement cost of $25.00 per tote and $75.00 per dolly.

12. Limitation of Liability

Easy Tote Rental is not responsible for:

  • Damage to Customer's personal property caused by improper packing or use of totes.
  • Delays in delivery or pickup caused by weather, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our totes or services.

Our total liability to Customer for any claim arising from this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by Customer for the applicable rental.

13. Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Easy Tote Rental, its owner, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Customer's use of our totes or services, or Customer's violation of this agreement.

14. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in Brunswick County, NC.

15. Modifications

Easy Tote Rental reserves the right to modify these Terms & Rental Agreement at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
